Forum on Seniors' Care

Hosted by Murray Rankin, NDP Health Critic and MP for Victoria

Wednesday August 12th, 7:00pm - 6:30pm
Cook Street Village Activity Centre
380 Cook Street
Victoria, British Columbia V8V3X7

With the first of the baby-boom generation now reaching 65, Canada needs a national seniors' strategy involving the federal, provincial and territorial governments. Currently 14% of Canadians are over age 65, and that number is expected to grow to almost a quarter of the population by 2036.

Please join me and William Cunningham, MD, Board Member of the Canadian Medical Association and Past-President of Doctors of BC for a discussion on the future of health care for Canada's aging population.

These discussions will be of interest to more than seniors. If you have aging parents or loved ones to care for in the future, I believe you will find the evening well worthwhile.

Please feel free to share this information with your friends and colleagues. We hope you can join us for this important constituency forum.
