Volunteer with Murray Rankin
Help build a stronger community and country
Murray works hard to represent our community but it takes a team to host events, help in our community or parliamentary offices, and assist with community outreach.
By lending your time, you'll learn new skills, make new friends and help build our community in Victoria.
Some of the work that you can help with:
Administrative: If you're a people person with a professional demeanor, we can use your skills to help create a welcoming environment in Murray's Community Office. This role includes tasks such as filing, data entry, and light reception duties.
Correspondence: Would you like to help get the message out to Victorians? Every day, we receive many emails and letters and we always need volunteers to work with our correspondence team. This is a great way to learn more about current issues, the concerns of our riding, and what Murray is doing to help.
Community outreach: Taking the issues directly to constituents through our canvassing team. If you have a passion for the issues and want to help build support for Murray's initiatives, this is for you. Keep an eye on our event page for upcoming Days of Action where you can get involved in this.
Events: Help with the logistics and publicity of Murray's community events.
Interpretation: Our community has diverse language groups. Do you speak a language other than English or French and would be willing to help interpret for constituents and office staff on an on-call basis?
Other: Are you a photographer, designer or artist and want to lend your specialized skill set? Let us know!
